Excellent balaclavas

They fit perfectly under my kids' helmets in cold weather. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old with smaller heads and ordered a size up for them.

Pros
  • ★ FOR SIZES: Children from 4 to 8 years and juniors from 10 to 14 years. Soft skullcaps with durable elastic and smooth stitching are ideal for helmets.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Helmet cap: Camping

They are great for my kids who bike to school. They fit snug, but not too tight. My kids are 5 and 7 years old, they are average height. It covers their ears well so they don't have to turn their ears to the wind while cycling.

Pros
  • ★ FUNCTION AND SAFETY: Covers ears and forehead - keeps kids warm in cold weather or in the mornings; Reflective logo protects kids in the evening and night or in low-light conditions when running/cycling/riding. The best choice for sports and training for young athletes.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

No hat! on boys

I should have read this more carefully but thought it could be used as a hat which it definitely can't. If you need a balaclava for a young child, this one will fit. My kid is 10 years old and this doesn't even fit as a helmet liner as it's a bit small for his head.

Pros
  • Polyester, Spandex
Cons
  • High Price

Sizing is COMPLETELY wrong but great lining

Bought for my 6 year old and 3.5 year old. I have a junior size for 6 years and a kids size for 3.5 years. The kid size didn't even cover his ears and kept riding up so I had to buy another junior size to fit him (although my kids both have big heads but not THAT big). Perfect for wearing under bike helmets on cold days.

Pros
  • ★ UNISEX STYLE: Both boys and girls can wear hats in universal colors. It is ideal for camping, hiking, trekking, climbing, hunting, tactical training, airsoft, paintball and other outdoor activities.
Cons
  • So so

Size small and very thin

Purchased size 4-6-8 for our 6.5 year old who bikes to school every day. It looks more like an oversized Yamaka to give you a mental picture and doesn't cover the ears at all which was the only reason to buy it. It's perfect for my almost 4 year old. I'd say a size larger than a 3-4 and maybe a 5. It's quite thin and doesn't look like my Gore Windstopper at all, but they don't do it in the kid sizes I could find. I'll try 8-10-12 for 6 years and let you know when it hits.

Good for the enthusiastic biker kid!

Great for my 3 year old. We live in Colorado and he enjoys riding his bike and scooter, even (or especially!) on snow and ice. We tried ski helmet style headphones but he said they sounded fun. It's very thin, but at least keeps you a little warmer. We really had to increase the size of the helmet when he wears that, otherwise the helmet would sit too high.

Pros
  • Polyester, Spandex
Cons
  • Requires outlet

The size is small and it is really thin

Bought a 4-6 size 8 for our 6.5 year old who bikes to school every day. It fits more of a large Yamaka to give you an idea and doesn't cover your ears at all which was the only reason I bought it. I would say size 3-4 and maybe 5. It's quite thin and doesn't look like my Gore Windstopper at all, but the kids' sizes I've been able to find don't. 8-10-12 for a 6 year old and let you know when it arrives.

Pros
  • ★ SUITABLE FOR HELMET LINER: As a lightweight helmet liner headgear (accessory) for cycling, biking, horseback riding, snowboarding, skiing or softball, baseball, crash, hockey. The four-needle, six-stitch process makes the stitching thinner and smoother without the discomfort of traditional stitching. The absorbent and quick-drying technology absorbs the moisture generated during exercise in time, and quickly spreads and evaporates to keep the young head dry.
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
