Syncs automatically with TV

I tore open the box and looked for instructions on how to try to sync/pair and set up my remote. It doesn't come with it as it will pair automatically when you point it at your TV! Definitely worse money and I highly recommend this remote!

It works, not great, but it works.

Works, quick setup. dragging. I changed the batteries and still very slow response. It works overall but isn't nearly as easy to use as the remote control that came with the TV. Sometimes it's enough to press the buttons a couple of times to change the channel or adjust the volume.

Excellent replacement for remote controls and accessories

Worked right away, just put batteries in. It actually works better than the original that came with the TV. I always had to press the buttons really hard on the original and this one works great. It's definitely lighter than the original, but for the price and performance, I don't care.

The battery cover is difficult to remove

I only bought it for the battery cover as mine was lost. It was cheaper to buy this replacement remote control. As I don't use the remote myself I can't rate it, but the cover covering the batteries had to be pryed off with a tool. It works with the original remote and all the buttons seem to be the same.

Weight less than the original remote control. But almost an exact copy.

Lighter weight and no type printed on the plastic. Other than those two things, I haven't noticed any difference. It was almost an exact copy. And it worked fine. I overlooked battery corrosion on the negative contact spring in the original remote. Tidy, works great. So now I have two remotes, find out.

Worked at first but then started to fail

This remote worked right out of the box for a couple of weeks but then the volume button started failing. Now you have to press really hard and it only works sometimes. The next button to fail was the channel up/down buttons. Now they work for a while and you really have to press hard. Just last week the on/off button worked the same way. Very frustrating! Wouldn't buy this remote control.

Works right away but not stable

I got this because sometimes our kids lose our other remote control. Worked immediately. It's lighter than the original but otherwise looks exactly the same in every detail. However, for some reason some buttons sometimes work on one but not on the other. This is an issue that occurred with the original remote a few weeks before ordering a new one. For example I could use one to adjust the volume and the other to switch channels. Or I have to press hard from time to time for the button to work.
