This ironing board cover fits like a glove. When I first opened it I was afraid it wouldn't fit due to the elastic around the edges and the lack of velcro. But as you can see from my photo it fits great and the extra padding is very noticeable. and I find the color of it particularly instructive.

May be a quality control issue. It doesn't fit on my ironing board. It's only 1 inch smaller, but it's a critical inch. I've spent a lot of time getting it to work, but it's just too small. Some other ironing board covers have Velcro or elastic straps to hold them in place. relies on an external rubber band, it is unreliable and cumbersome.

I used to work in an import shop and some goods from India had a musty smell like they were stored in a humid place with mold spores. A sniffle when opening the packaging of this case told me that putting a hot steam iron on it would stink to high heaven so I sent it back and asked for a replacement. It came and smelled exactly the same. It came back - I bought one from Big Lots instead.

This ironing board cover fits my 18x47 ironing board. I put an extra 5/8" layer on my board for extra stiffness for my quilting and it still had enough coverage for the sides, with some spare length. Easy to put on nice and snug the way I like it with a heavy duty elastic cord. The felt pad is nice and thick but not soft like the cheaper foam padded cases. I'm so glad I chose this one.

I ordered this to replace a very worn and tiring ironing board cover for a brand new look. It's very thick and fits well. The pattern and colors are the same as in the picture. My ironing board doesn't fit any of the size categories so I wasn't sure about the fit, but the strong drawstring at the bottom can be pulled down to ensure a snug fit.
