This is a decent holster for what it was made for. However, there are definitely some design flaws. If you put your phone in a protective case and turn it screen side out, the case will fit the holster very snugly. Now turn the phone over and rotate the screen toward the holster and now the case won't fit in the holster.

I got this because I was tired of falling or when my iPhone 7+ slipped and fell to the ground. It would scratch my case's screen, which is expensive, so I took a chance. That was the safest bet I've ever made. I can attach almost anything with a clamp. And the clip is just a monster! Like an alligator 🐊. As Lifeproof no longer makes a fragile holster for their case I would give it a try as I like the size of the Lifeproof case on my iPhone 8 Plus compared to others. The holster itself has a good design, the phone case fits snugly, the clip can be opened and locked easily without fear of falling out.
