🌈 EnChroma Color Blindness Glasses: Enhancing Vision for the Color Blind Review

Since 2014 I have looked at Enchroma glasses with awe and wonder. It's something I couldn't justify, but also something I wanted. This year my wife surprised me by saying she would buy me a pair. How good are these glasses? And what about the fact that I can actually see colors vividly? I am red/green moderately protan color blind. I'm not a red/green blind person and the green and red really stand out on these glasses. I've been wearing them for a few days now and I really love them. It would be 5 stars but they are a little tight near the ears.

I know this only works for my 30s. old son. Well I couldn't film him because he used a lot of swear words. We only recently discovered that he was quite severely deuteron colorblind. When I received them I was very excited to be able to see all the colors I couldn't see. I followed the directions and wore them for a while to allow my eyes to get used to them, but I was very disappointed. It would be cool if it worked, but it doesn't have to for me. The build quality and the packaging itself was pretty good, but the price is ridiculously high for what you get. The glasses feel very light. When I put on my glasses, I didn't notice anything except that the world had turned pink. If you wear them for the recommended 10+ hours, you kind of forget that the pink tint stayed the same. But color wise, there wasn't too much of a difference from my normal vision to justify the price…

I bought these for my 40 year old son who has a red and green deficiency. With some colors he noticed a little more brightness. But he tested again for color blindness while wearing glasses on the Enchroma website and got the same results. He wore them for 2 weeks as he was told it takes time. After the trial period, we decided to return the glasses. You answered our questions perfectly.

They didn't fit me. I could see red and green a little better, but the glasses actually distorted my ability to see blue. I traded one spectrum for another, which was sort of a "clean null". Definitely not EnChroma's fault. The glasses appear to be well made. Just didn't work for me.
