I already had one of these so I knew it was good. I use it on two desktop computers. That's better than cables running throughout the house. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I really don't know if there is anything better. But for $10 you can't beat it.

Seller rating "excellent" but the product did not do what I needed : turned on my old iOmega ScreenPlay Director HD on my home wifi (ScreenPlay didn't recognize it). This is still a handy key that allows me to host VMware client machines on a different Wi-Fi network than my host machine, so I'm keeping it to myself.

After trying 3 different wireless adapters that supposedly worked on ALL platforms, this finally saved my life. Others "worked" on Linux after just a few hours of driver and system configuration from the command line. It actually worked on Ubuntu 10-12 right out of the box. Any Ubuntu user will probably appreciate this and understand why I gave it 5 stars.

So I searched for a new wireless n adapter and specifically searched for it in Revain and finally bought this one, lo and behold I had to search because Revain had this for wireless n adapters and AG adapters. However, the picture is exactly the same model that I received, except that it says G on the adapter and box, not N, the information and picture do not match, don't be fooled!

This is a great inexpensive USB Wi-Fi dongle. I've had it for a month now, no problems. It works well and I've never had a disconnect. I tested it on WinXP but didn't use the included drivers as I read they are useless. Instead I used the drivers found on the Realtek (chip manufacturer) website.
