they don't work properly

Installation is very simple. But I have two problems and the manufacturer changed the switches and you know what? same problems Problem 1) You can't run the fan at high speed when the light is on. When you turn on the light and turn on the fan at high speed, the light will turn off. 2) If your fan is off but you turn it on on the light, the fan will go low! Why? I do not know.

Don't waste your money they suck

I bought a couple of these switches for my house as every room has a fan combo. Sliding on these switches is very hard to slide and you will have trouble getting the switch to slow/medium/fast mode. Lowes and Home Depot have much better switches that slide very smoothly and easily. Now I have to buy new switches and go around the house and reinstall. I'm not that happy about it.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Dimmable LED bulb ideal for lighting and ceiling fans

Dimmable LED bulb continues to flicker when dimmed to a level below full. I called the manufacturer's support and was told that the switch had been tested with brands like GE, Philips or Cree lamps. I bought dimmable GE bulbs and they still flickered constantly when dimmed. The seller should refrain from advertising the compatibility of the dimmable LED bulb to match the actual capability of the switch. The rest of the switch is fine.

Pros
  • Finally bought

Hi-Lo's opposites are best in Wall Control

The switch was very easy to install and the fan and light work great. The fan hum typical of a dimmer switch is not present. The only real complaint comes from the orientation of the switches. Everything is off downstairs and the light is brightest upstairs. That being said, you would expect the fan at the very top to be high or fastest, but in fact it's low and slowest, with high being a notch higher.

There's a brown wire.

These switches should be easy to install but there was a brown wire. I didn't know what to do with it. The directions would be easy if everything were marked at my house. Here's what I found out: I don't know what I'm doing. My house was built in 1981, so the wiring is very old. can turn it on and off top and bottom. This switch didn't work for me for all of these reasons. If you know what you're doing or hire someone, I wouldn't worry about it. It will probably work just fine.

  • Accessory
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Good ceiling fan/light switch combo

I was looking for a replacement for two ceiling fan/light switch combos and came across it at Revain. With the wiring already done as it was a replacement, installation was easy. Just remember to turn off the circuit breaker to be on the safe side. The front panel was integrated into the switch. I don't have any LED flickering like some others have said. high to low but something I can easily get used to. The current switch I have sequences low to high like other vendors I've researched.

Pros
  • Ceiling fans and accessories
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
