This is an excellent writing paper with a laminated surface. I can write satisfactorily on this paper with a fine tipped fountain pen, but I really need a medium or broad nib to write easily. The surface is not as smooth as some other types of paper (e.g. Clairefontaine). The look of the paper is elegant and the feel is solid. In terms of quality, I would compare it to Crane stationery.
