Fast cast is a two component urethane casting resin, which turns white once set. Easy to use, 1:1 Ratio and is odorless. Ideal for casting, prototyping, miniatures, models, taxidermy, etc. Sets to a hard cast in approximately 10 minutes at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Once cured, it can be drilled, sanded, shaped and painted.

Don't waste your money

1. Doesn't set in 10 minutes (more like an hour) 2. Doesn't set to white, more like clear ghee 3. It's rough with lots of tiny ones air bubbles. Even 10 minutes Alumilite is better. At least it cures white and smooth, if not in 10 minutes as advertised.

Excellent goods!

This product definitely lives up to its name and expectations, it's so easy to use and very quick to make! The details of the finished product are absolutely beautiful. It was used with Prima Molds what a great combination. It offers much finer detail with a more finished look than air dry clay which I have used a lot. I will buy this product again! Good product!

Works well, installs quickly as advertised

Works well and installs in about 15 minutes (I left it in the mold longer just to be sure). The only minor complaint is that the cured resin in the finished castings had a slightly rough texture (possibly due to micro-bubbles in the resin from mixing). The finished casting was easy to grind and drill. I used a polymer clay mold (hardened) and applied a thin layer of petroleum jelly as mold lubricant.

Pros
  • Pouring and pouring
Cons
  • Some small things
