Good filter quality. The seal is taller so installation requires extra effort

This filter is very similar to the OEM and I would order again. I deducted a star because the rubber seal is higher than the OEM. This means you have to press very hard on the "top" of the air intake filter housing to compress the rubber just enough to engage the tabs on the top of the housing with the main housing box. It's not a huge problem, but it does take some skill to apply a lot of pressure when you're getting the tabs in place. Nonetheless, I would order again and again.

super easy. Slightly thicker than the original.

I installed this on my 2013 Ford Edge. Pretty simple build. Done in less than 5 minutes. Definitely a snugger fit than what I had before but seems to work well. Much better and easier than spending time and money going to the store. They wanted to charge me $34 for something I could do myself for $7. No, it's understandable. You don't even need vehicle knowledge to do the installation. Just watch YouTube. The rubber around the edges was too thick, making it harder to put the lid back on…
