Good light: Bulbs

They are a bit big in circumference, so you need some space in the lamp. I use mine outside on the patio. It is not fully protected and gets wet when it rains. So far it still works perfectly. The light output I get is very good. I like the color/light shade it gives off, it's easy on the eye not harsh. I've only been using it for a few months so I don't have any durability ratings but if it lasts a few years I would buy it again.

You will love how bright they are! You can see the spots if you look into the light for a second.

Put 4 of these in your garage and they will be incredibly bright! It's so nice to see what I'm doing there. Had to do 40w because 60w tripped the switch. Not sure why; This set has a 15 amp switch and turned it off as soon as I put in the first of the four bulbs. Absolutely recommend this product! I'm looking forward to getting some soft white light bulbs for outdoor lighting in the house. They've been at it for 2 months and they're still working, so it's not a bust.

Misleading (updated)

This is definitely not equivalent to a 180 watt light bulb, despite the claim. I replaced a 100 watt lightbulb with the same color temperature and this lightbulb was brighter than this one. Update with better results: A supplier sent me a brighter 45 watt bulb for free. It's definitely the best experience and I'm more than happy with the results. I have raised my rating from 3 to 4 stars. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 is because I have a floor lamp with a bell dome, and this lamp is longer
