A good product. Just make sure you know your car's specs.

Installed in 89 Nissan 240sx: I like how the bulb in the sensor fits in 194 LED bulbs. This gave me the opportunity to make it in any color I wanted. I hurried and the scale shows an empty value of 0. For the original unit, 240, 0 means full. In other words, it is read backwards. * Not at all the fault of the product! *Just thought I would leave this information for all other chassis owners. Much better than guessing every time I go skiing! Very accurate

The description is NOT of this product. Proceed with caution.

The description in this listing is NOT ACCURATE as it says "Advanced LED Illumination" when the actual product comes with a standard 7w Type 194 bulb and the description says "90 degree mechanical rotary emitter " says and there is no such station. is in the package. It also says the sensor can be connected to a speaker to signal fuel level. No I don't think so, the sensor has three pins: power, ground and a sensor wire. I haven't installed it yet, but I'm not thrilled yet. I'll let you know…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Reliability

On the fence about this as I've had issues with them but they may have been my fault. I bought it for my project truck which is based on a 1991 V6 powered S10 truck. It read high for a long time (literally, I had a sip of gas in the tank for a test run of the engine and it showed half full. After some fiddling around to figure out why I put more gas in and checked all the wiring, it's reading correctly now (I'm guessing that it might be grounded somewhere) The backlight is amazing, especially…
