Works well: Accessory

I work in a storage fridge (-10) and have tried other balaclavas but they get wet and leave you freezing. This will still get wet, but has enough space so that you don't feel wet on your face. A couple of small issues for me that affect the Dobot's effectiveness (I have a mustache and it brings my hair back into my nose or mouth so I have to stop and adjust) and (it's a bit rough due to a leak from frozen condensation taking off the mask and dripping onto the mask and onto the jacket) 2 small…

Ideal if you work outdoors!

I work the streets in northern Ohio. I have tried other balaclavas to help with the low winter temperatures. Always the same problem; fogged up goggles and a cold, wet mouth from breathing through the material. Ergodyne N-Ferno has completely solved these problems. Works great but there is condensation dripping

I bought this to wear during winter cycling. When the temperature is 20F or higher I wear a regular balaclava, but when the temperature drops below 20F I need something warmer. The heat exchanger works wonders. I used this today when the air temperature was -9°F (-28°F with wind chill index). I put my ski goggles on over the N-Ferno 6970 and tucked the balaclava collar into my ski jacket. With this outfit combo I had no exposed skin and was able to see and breathe perfectly. When cycling I have

Cons
  • Safety

I live in Chicago and work cell towers from Minnesota to Missouri. . This is a testimonial from someone who works outdoors every day in FROST frost at an altitude where the cold wind is at least 10 degrees colder than on the ground. The biggest problem with all other balaclavas is that you can't cover your mouth and nose for long because the moisture from your breath makes the material damp. So you puff your face up and down all day to protect yourself from the weather, but when moisture builds
