🐛 The Very Hungry Caterpillar Activity Toy by World of Eric Carle Review

I love the idea of this toy and my child loves it! This amused her, but I kept seeing stuffing all over the place. As I was looking at this, I noticed that one of the round fillings was coming out through the stitch! Very unsafe for the child, can cause choking. I tried cutting it off but it still comes out. I even followed the instructions and only cleaned with a damp cloth, not in the washing machine.

Very cute car seat toy. Mount it to a support rail just where it will dangle and she can touch it, but don't hang too low if it's touching her face. The teether is too far away to reach her mouth, but it's the perfect grip for her to tug on and make crackling noises. The different textures and sounds it makes (transparent bead ball, crunchy plastic wrap, music) keep my little one entertained. Makes driving so much easier!

I bought this for my daughter when she was about 4 months old to accompany the book as her very first toy. She is now 11 months old and still loves him! Her favorite things to do are spinning a ball and chewing on a little pillow. The song is also very beautiful. All in all it has held up quite well after a few months. I have since bought two more caterpillars as baby shower gifts and both expectant mothers loved them. It will continue to be my favorite birthday gift!

This is a really cute toy. I love Eric Karl. I paired it with a book and it makes a great new baby or baby shower gift. Not everyone can probably buy it, so the recipient doesn't have to send it back. Haven't given it to my grandson yet but seems to be very durable. So I didn't rate the durability. It's a good size for babies and offers some activities that older children will enjoy too. I think it would be great for a stroller or car seat. After all, who doesn't love a hungry caterpillar?

The song doesn't play fast. This is the comfortably slow tempo at which the song is usually sung. I hesitated when some of the reviewers said the song had speeded up. It's not like this. It has different fabrics for each section, colors and textures. The mirror is not very hard, but not thin either. This is great but we will not attach it to the car seat as it would be inaccessible. In the future, we may add some rings to make it longer depending on how baby feels about it. But now it's a great

I first bought this from a thrift store when I was pregnant with my first child late last year. It saved my life, especially in the car. I don't hang him on the car seat, just put him on his lap and driving becomes more comfortable because he's busy.
