I used a pair of these along with the large grommets to hang my sea kayak from my garage ceiling. They do their job but after a few months of use I noticed that the part of the strap that goes through the cam buckle doesn't want to stay straight; It tends to slide along the inside edge of the buckle making adjustment difficult.
