Review on Erickson 51215 Motorcycle Buckle Tie Down by Robert Byrd

Contrary to what another reviewer said, this is actually paper thin. When it starts rubbing against something, it wears out and tears apart. 1200 lbs. load capacity and 400 lb. operating capacity? I have serious doubts about the £1200 belt rating and price. After a month outdoors in the sun or in a humid condition, the 400lb capacity will quickly decrease. It has a good buckle, but it's not designed for a strap that thin to work or hold properly. I think the strap wears out pretty quickly with any movement of 400 pounds or less on the buckle's teeth.
