This is by far my favorite bedding purchase on Amazon. I wanted a proper blanket, but crossed my fingers I bought it instead. I'm so glad I did. The fabric is so incredibly silky and looks beautiful in my room. I use it over my existing duvet. The shams fit perfectly. Gives my room a nice feminine touch.

So this duvet was bought by accident thinking it was a duvet which turned out to be a duvet. It's not bad at all. In fact, I have a king bed and my daughter has a queen bed. She commanded the queen. I gave her my royal comforter when we saw it was a comforter and matched her royal comforter. And it's so beautiful. She ordered black and I think it looks great in her room. She's in love.

I was disappointed that this blanket ONLY has a satin finish on the outside. cotton fabric inside. I wanted the blanket to be all satin or silk to repel cat fur and keep you cool, it actually catches cat hair (quite a LOT) and the material inside doesn't feel cold. We wake up several times in night sweats. The outer satin part of the design is beautiful, but I will most likely be returning it to find a reversible satin blanket.

No sewn-in buttons to connect the duvet. A really beautiful and well-made piping. The zipper is cheap and will likely need to be replaced after a few cleaning cycles. Also the first duvet cover I've bought with no buttons to keep the duvet in place inside. It's a little on the big side, so if you're looking for a streamlined, minimalist look, this isn't the best choice of duvet cover. I'll probably add buttons once the zipper is unzipped.

I currently have this duvet cover in silver (purchased from another link) and was so excited to see it in burgundy as it was the color I originally wanted. The color in the photo looks phenomenal - a deep, rich red. It looks very different in real life. It is a very light orange color without any depth of color. I don't even think someone just increased the saturation of the colors in the photo - they look like completely different colors. So disappointed.

This duvet cover is silky and easy to put on, which doesn't always go well together. It has a cheap back and some stray threads, but the back is not visible and the top is nice (after you trim the stray threads). Haven't washed it yet but I think it will do fine with a gentle wash and air dry which is what I expected. It also held up well to my cat's claws, which I wasn't at all sure about. There are better products out there, but not so much at this price point. I would recommend.
