🔥 ESP-WROOM-32 Module: Efficient WiFi Transceiver Batch Burn Fixture for Test Burning Review

I've spent weeks pulling my hair out, it needs CH340K drivers, not the ones they advertised. You may not make such component substitutions.

The circuit board works as it should but my biggest complaint is that the spring pins are not placed well. This makes the board look cheap and raises some concerns about how long it can last.

Received the item today and tried to program. These are 8MB chunks returned with flash read errors. You have no schema or layout information. Blocks are ok as it is possible to program with wired connections. UPDATE: The block is now working. Solder short at the connector pins. This means that this device was NEVER TESTED, ONLY soldered and delivered. SO MUCH FLOW REMAINS ON BOARD.

I'm disappointed that they replaced the board with a board that doesn't have a USB to TTL chip that works on a Mac. The instructions for use and the picture show the Silab chip. Online drivers for these drivers work well on Mac. But the board I just received has a CH340K interface chip and appears to be a different version. There are no drivers for CH340K for Mac. If I had known the board had a CH340K interface chip I would not have bought it.

I like to use Audrino IDE software to program ESP32 WROOM32 without Dev Kit. This test burn board makes it easy. Before uploading sketches, you must press the RESET and PROG buttons. There are many videos on Youtube that can help newbies like me and that's a big plus. The biggest difficulty I had was installing my ESP32 on this test board. The sprung seat is a little problematic for beginners. The board I received was well made and I hope to get a lot of use out of it.
