I use these natural wipes on my donkeys during 'bug season'. One of my donkeys has an aversion to aerosol repellent so I use that instead. Large wipes are also great for the face and around the eyes.

The reason I use them so often is for convenience. One container in my trailer, the other in the pantry. It's very easy to take out a tissue and cover your face with it in seconds. My horses like the feel of the wipes a lot more than the way I spray fly spray on their presses with my hands while wiping their muzzles.

I bought these wipes for my horse's face because I didn't want chemicals in my eyes and nose. I wiped his whole head and then started cleaning his pen. When I was done I walked past him and saw flies around his eyes, cheeks and nose. Didn't take 5 minutes. It smells nice and maybe the flies like it too.

Looks like a good product; However, I just opened the wipes for the first time and the top broke off. The top part is broken off and doesn't fit properly. As a result, the wipes dry out and become unusable. This was very frustrating as I also bought herbal fly spray and the jar had a huge dent. These products are not cheap! Now I have wipes that dry quickly. I haven't heard from the company.

Chemical fly repellents gave my horse chemical burns that looked like ripples on the skin. When used in combination with 2 tablespoons of powdered garlic added to the diet daily, this product has worked well as a fly prevention tactic. They are great! I like that they are non-toxic because I have goldfish in my horse trough and don't want them to be poisoned under my care.
