I bought this case mainly to get rid of the protruding edges that traditional cases have. The raised edges got in the way when painting. This case did just that, offering protection from scratches and looking very good too. The magnetic force is quite strong, the case hasn't moved/dislocated since I've had it. It also has a flap to keep the Apple Pencil nice and secure. The inside is nice smooth suede (fake) so I don't have to worry about scratching my iPad. One of the things about this case is

As soon as I opened the back cover you could smell this horrible smell. I've tried airing it out but it still smells like it. The cover seems good, but I don't put it on the iPad. Come back and hope the next one doesn't smell like that.

I was actually hesitant to go for this type of case, but when I unpacked my 11" iPd Pro 2020 and put it in, it felt great. The finish feels really smooth and premium. I really like this case. It is very durable and lightweight. I feel like it's well protected for the most part (I put it in a large carrying case when traveling with my iPad). Not sure if the corners will fall off as they are open. The flap for the Apple Pencil is perfect, the case I have on my pencil makes it easy to fall off and helps ensure the pencil stays on the iPad. I needed a thin, minimalistic tome for my new iPad Pro that would protect my 2nd gen Apple Pencil and keep it in place. This is the perfect slide.
