ESS Energy Warehouse Review

The software has allowed me as an engineer at my work place (Equinix) access our energy portfolio from anywhere I am with no restrictions or limitations. The ability to store power from other sources (wind or solar) during times when it's not needed but can be used later at peak hours. Cost is still expensive per kWh stored especially if you are purchasing through an aggregator like Ameren. However, I think this is due to the type/quality of batteries being installed rather than with any faults within the system itself. The customer service from Ess was excellent! I had an issue with my unit not charging correctly so they were able find me someone who could help diagnose it over email (which took less than 10 minutes) then came out right away when we found what needed fixing or replacing - very professional team!! The interface is very user friendly. It's easy to navigate through all of the different modules and tabs. I have had an issue with connecting to one of our customers' systems but it was not ESS's fault. They were able to get us connected and get back to me right away. Very happy customer. The only thing I would say about this program is that there isn't really much room to add additional information and notes.
