Purchased to add a LAN cable to add a hotspot and connect a 4K TV and Blue Ray player. Pretty easy to install and no problems connecting to the router. There are also no problems with the cable connection.

The product is easy to install and works well. It easily connects to Ethernet and coax cables at both ends. The material and the connections make a solid and well-made impression. Pictures on the TV over coax and ethernet connections look fine.

Edit: I was sent a replacement without asking and the coax connector fits as it should. First check: coaxial connector does not match the wall plate. I had to dremel the plastic around the connector to make it fit. Obviously the plug was not intended for the included wall plate.

Worked great. What I found particularly useful is that you can slide out the coax interface for easier attachment (on the back of the board). I would rather connect the back of the CAT5e port. Although the truth is that if you ever need to change it, it's more useful to end it with RJ-45.

Installed this wall plate where my router gets its cable. The only small point that might matter more or less to others was the quality of the white mounting screw. Using the right screwdriver I scraped off all the white paint and had to be very, very careful not to damage the screw head. With an RJ45 connector on both sides, it's really easy so you don't really have to grab a raw cable and push down to make an RJ45 connection. It's annoying and allows you to just use regular cables instead of raw cables. However, my electrician told me to replace the gold plated barrel with a silver one (not sure if it's actually silver or nickel or something) as the gold let in too much noise/interference. Fast shipping by seller. Attaching the ethernet and coax ports to the wall plate was tedious but ok. However, the coaxial cable connector is poorly constructed. The coax connector clamp interferes with the knurled nut on the coax cable - you must bend the clamp to install the coax cable (see red arrow in photo). The photo shows a much better coax connector design (lower set of coax connectors). The good news is that repair costs are minimal if a tensioned retaining clip breaks over time.

The screws for the white wall plate were too long (usually 3x the length) and the pilot holes in the bracket were too small for them - the screws were too difficult to tighten. Result? Sheared heads, pliers for unscrewing, a trip to the hardware store to buy the right screws. Gold-plated coaxial nipples are a source of noise.
