As a rock-climbing enthusiast, I was disappointed in these climbing holds .The slick material of the buckets made it incredibly difficult to keep a grip, which lead to finger cramps and an overall shaky-feeling ascent. Of the 5 etch holder sets I own, this is my least favorite set. The shape of the grips is quite sharp and most climbers will find them painful in all but the steepest of turns. Luckily, they're good enough to be used on very steep walls and roofs, although you'll only fit about a pillow and a half in the cargo area. Good for moderate to difficult roofing problems.
