Not for round ethernet cable

Bought to run a round ethernet cable from the second floor to the first floor router. At first, as expected, some got stuck and had no problems. When I tried to fit them around the door frame to then start falling I had a problem and I had to do without the clips entirely. Also, the glue is very weak and doesn't stick well to the walls. Would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good but not the best option for painted drywall

These Work Well If You Can Find The Surface They Work On. I'm trying to stick them to painted drywall and there are discontinuous spots where they stick and others where they don't. I cleaned the wall with Clorox and rubbed the stain with 91% alcohol and in some cases they just wouldn't stick. Even if the cord or clips aren't taut, in some cases they just won't hold. Not the best solution, but good if it sticks to your surface.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Doubt

Very handy clips on Ethernet cables

These clips are very easy to install and very effective. I only had one click from the wall after putting the cord in and it was most likely my fault for pulling the cord too hard. They are MUCH easier to use than similar nail products and are very discreet and unobtrusive. If I ever need to screw the ribbon cable back on, I'll definitely get it.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • No mold required

Don't waste time, money and money

They don't stick to the wall. We finally have fiber and now we have a 50 foot cable from the computer room to the living room. I decided to hide the cable from these guys. I tried attaching it to the baseboards first and then moving it to the wall right above the baseboards, nothing happened. Our skirting boards are glossy and the wall color is matte eggshell. I was very disappointed.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not everything fits

I no longer have holes in my walls

These brackets have made my life a lot easier. When I started drilling holes in my walls to route my flat ethernet cable from the bottom up to my office, I figured there must be another way. I searched and searched until I found this product. Easy to use. No need to punch a hole or drive screws. Strong grip. Easy to remove.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works great on a textured painted wall

I have these to run some flat ethernet cables I bought down my office walls. The walls are painted and textured. I had no trouble putting them on and after a week they are still holding up great. I put a fair amount of pressure on them when I press them against the wall (about 5 seconds total). It took me about 10-15 minutes to attach all the clamps to the wall and that's when I inserted the cables. It's been a week and they're still holding up great. Only 1 cable fits per clamp. (if it's notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ethernet Cable
Cons
  • No Automatic

Ideal for a cable.

Works great! Great price for quantity! Tip, put them in and let them sit for a while before using. I hung an ethernet cable from the ceiling along the corner of the room, and I basically attached it to the ceiling, left it on for 30 seconds, and then hung the cable. At first they held up quite well, then I woke up in the morning and boom, half the cables were done. Interestingly, while I probably lost most of the overall holding power, I just reattached the ones that came loose from the wallโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • boring packaging
