Ethique Facial Cleansing Bars Variation (In Your Face, 1 Pack) Review

I bought this product to use it when on the boat to avoid having plastic containers on board. I just wasted money, and I'm not sure how it received good reviews, but for me, it doesn't work.The product is a tiny and abrasive piece of soap that would not create any lather. My face was squeaky after using it but didn't feel clean, and I had to rewash it with my moisturizing face cleanser. I wish I could return it.

I bought the Ethique face sampler and really liked the In Your Face cleansing bar. I am in my late 40’s, and I have had problems with cystic acne since my teens and am still prone to break outs. My T-zone is a little oily, especially the chin, but my cheeks are beginning to become dry. I feel that this bar cleanses away the oil without stripping the dry areas of my face, and since I started using the sample 2 weeks ago, I have not had a break out, which is unheard of for me. My face feels super soft after using this soap (with the scrub every other day). Love the soap. I’m not a fan of many scents and this certainly doesn’t have much. A tip for all; you need to run the soap under very hot water to get the luxurious lather that you are likely used to. Great for my skin, great for the environment!

Love this face wash! It has a good lather, a light scent, and does not irritate or over dry my skin. I have only used ethique face was for a few years now and will definetly continue using!

Tried this product as part of a sample pack and really liked it. I ordered the full sized product but found that it didn't work as well as the sample sized product to wash my face. I will be returning.

I love this company’s products and their commitment to reducing plastic bottle waste. I have their shampoo and face soap. And I own 2 of their soap dishes, which are biodegradable as well. They are exceptional in my opinion.

My face feels so clean after using this. It doesn’t get super foamy but no scent and very good value for money. Will last forever.

I have oily acne prone skin and this stuff works great! The bars lather up really well and clean my face without the dried out feeling after. These bars last me at least a month each which makes it totally work the price to me.

My husband and I both use this soap and have done so exclusively for the past few months. It is great for combination to oily skin, does not over dry, and is pretty effective at keeping skin clear. We were looking for a way to reduce our plastic use and using this soap instead of the liquid and pump soap we were using was one way we could do that. I would highly recommend this soap, it lasts a long time and does the job!

These bars are literally unusable. It does not later at all. I have never experienced a product that fails so profoundly at its basic function. Please see the photos attached. Even though you can see a slight white film on my wet hands, once I apply the film to my face, it feels like I am washing with plain water. I do not get any sensation that there is product on my face other than water.I have used plenty of natural products and I completely understand that many have a more subtle lather…

This face was had an awesome lather the first two orders I made, but the third shipment definitely has no bubbles to it. I think it is missing an ingredient. I will order again because I'm hoping it was a mistake, but this facewash was a really easy switch from our old face wash which came in a plastic bottle. Happy to have a plastic free, great product.

Great product. I can say that my breakouts have been minimal to none. It does not dry out my skin. I am about to travel the country and am excited for one less liquid bottle I am allowed to carry. The bar is great.

The face cleansing bar works really well for normal to oily skin. My skin is oily in the summer and more dry in the cooler/winter months. When my skin is more oily, I just wash twice. this is a great product. a little goes a long way

Nice tingly feeling. Gets my face clean. Have really loved all my Ethique products. I wish I could find a solution for a toner and eye make up remover and. Could remove lost plastic from my morning routine.
