Downgrading to 3 stars because it disrupts TV signal

These lights are great, except they disrupt TV antenna signals. I’m not talking about cable TV or network streaming or set-top-devices, as those work fine. I’m talking about over-the-air antenna types. With these lights on, the TV signal goes to static/noise. Too bad, because they are very nice otherwise, and I installed them all over my house. Now, I might have to swap all out with something else…

Pros
  • Suitable for commercial use – perfect for lighting up retail shops, offices etc
Cons
  • It can be hard to remove the fixture from the ceiling

Great value and customer service!

Purchased these for finishing my basement. Bought them in April when I was roughing in my electrical and finally got to the point where I could install the lights in mid-September. Got to the last four of 36-6" lights I bought, and they didn't work. After a few calls and messaging Amico through the Revain messaging, they sent me a replacement set of lights. The ability to adjust the color temperature is a must! Given the color of the walls, I found it necessary to change the lights to help with

Pros
  • Can function as a night light – offers the convenience of a built-in night light
Cons
  • The light can be too harsh at certain angles

Excellent customer service

We installed the lights and were very happy (easy to install, look great). One started flickering and went out after about a year and a half. I contacted customer service and they very quickly responded and sent a replacement free of charge.

Pros
  • I do handyman work. These are my go to. Never failed. Dimmable and color choice. Very easy install.
Cons
  • The quality of the materials is not high enough for the price

Good value, great availability, fantastic shipping. Only problem was one of the mounting tab springs was off its retainer slot. Very hard to fix back in place. Most likely assembly line worker just gave up.

Pros
  • Installed them under the eaves on the outside of my house
Cons
  • It can interfere with home automation systems

Good value. Excellent customer service!

I cut the holes, electrician ran wire and connected. Seemed super easy so I'd give it a go if I do again. Everything worked at first. One light started flickering after a few days. Checked and the box for that pod was faulty. Called cust service. I was contacted via email next day. Offered refund, I asked just for box and light (1) to replace. I got it a week later. Works great. Would buy from again.I would recommend a dimmer switch if possible. Really works good.

Pros
  • Equivalence of 110 watts brightness- illuminates even large spaces
Cons
  • It can be too bright for some people

Junction boxes are a little flimsey

Lights seemed to match my other order of 12 well enough but I liked the juction boxes on the others better. The lid kept falling off and I had to electrical tape them to keep them closed. Not a major deal but I hate having to engineer cheap construction.

Pros
  • Durability – with a 50,000-hour lifespan these lights will last you a long time
Cons
  • It can cause glare in certain areas of the room

Installed a six pack in a 12' x 15' room with 8' ceiling.

Had to use a dimmer switch due to brightness. Pay attention to how high your ceilings are. I could have gotten away with four instead of six these with my 8 foot ceiling and medium size room! These LEDs are very bright which is great for larger rooms. I would say one LED light can easily provide as much light as a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Have mine switched to the lowest setting w/ dim switch.

Pros
  • Saves energy and money – switching to LED lights saves both energy and money
Cons
  • It’s not very durable

Best lights i have installed

I really enjoy these lights. They are simple to install. I have put 20 lights up in my house. I have replaced all my globe lighting with these led lights. I feel it keeps my house cooler since they put off no heat at all. I highly recommend these lights. So far they work flawlessly I really love them. They make a huge difference on the look of the inside of the house. You can be creative where u put them and connect more thab one to the same line.

Pros
  • Low profile – sleek design allows it to blend seamlessly into any ceiling
Cons
  • The light is too focused, and doesn’t provide even lighting

Good, but not as good as CREE at HomeDepot.

Information in the advertisements recommends drilling a 4.25 - 4.5" (inch) hole. When the box arrived, it included a 4" (inch) template. The 4.25" hole works fine, but a 4.5" hole would be too large.Harder to wire than similar product from CREE at Home Depot. Doesn't include push-through system for attaching electrical wire securely to junction box; does include push-in connectors for wiring inside junction box.

Pros
  • UL-listed – meets safety standards set by the Underwriters Laboratories
Cons
  • It can be hard to find replacement parts for repairs

Great Lights! on my review.

These lights are great. They were easy to install and lightweight. Mine are installed in the drop ceiling tiles. Before installation, you can adjust the light brightness level from a very low yellow glow to very bright white light. The fixture is held in with clips so you can access it and re-adjust the level of light needed for the space they are in.

Pros
  • Sleek design – adds to the aesthetic beauty of your home
Cons
  • It may not be compatible with all types of lighting controls

Great product! for my opinion

I was skeptical at first because of price. Turns out that these lights are great! Easy to install, wire and fit finish is exactly what I wanted for our kitchen to replace the old fluorescent ballast. I recommend if this is something you are interested in. I'm considering buying more to replace all my ceiling lights in the house.

Pros
  • CRI > 90 – ensures true color representation, making images and colors look more natural
Cons
  • It can be hard to change the bulb without damaging the fixture

Very nice and easy install.

We got these for new construction. Not sure how long they are going to last but they look like good quality. It comes with everything you need to install. Just make sure your hole is 6.25 inches wide. That's what it says in needed for mounting. I got plates to put in before drywall goes up and they are 6.15 inches and it's extremely close to going into them flush. Once the drywall is up there will be enough give in the drywall to accommodate. Very cool good looking lights. If you need new ones…

Pros
  • Hassle-free – no maintenance costs
Cons
  • It’s not suitable for low ceilings

Good product, horrible delivery service.

As you can see in the picture, they left the box on my tailgate of my truck during raining season, which has happened everyday for the last 2 weeks. The box on the right is another package delivered that was left in the rain. But at least the lights I ordered work. And are nice. Just need to work on the delivery guys work ethic, and common sense.

Pros
  • No noise – operates silently without creating any disturbances
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for all types of ceilings

Fixed: Flicker and Brightness Changes

These work perfectly now! Super bright and been up for a couple of weeks after a changeout of a switch and a set of lights--no more issues! Fiancé and I love what these did to brighten up our living room.Update: Issue: Tried these on two different dimmer switches and got the same problem. No matter where I set the dimmer to light will eventually start flickering the bounce around to a different brightness or perhaps back to where it was set after the flickering. Tried adjusting each dimmers…

Pros
  • Easy to install – no need for recessed housings, these lights are canless
Cons
  • It’s not very eco-friendly

The brightness of the lights

I was worried that the lights would not be as bright as other recessed lights since they were flat and smaller. We were pleasantly surprised that they were brighter then any regular recessed light. They are amazing. We will order again when we need to do more lighting. I received them in two days. Just amazing.

Pros
  • Energy efficient – consumes only 12 watts of power
Cons
  • It can cause eye strain in some people

Lighted up a dark home

I used these throughout my son's home and changed a 1960's dark home into a glowing light home. The 1960's home expected the owner to have a lot of floor and table lamps but most of the receptacles are behind furniture so the lights on switches are much better and use very little electricity. Maybe we need to switch down so the light is not so bright, but with kids homework they seem to like to have all the lights on they can switch. I still have 6 left out of 24 and will install two in my…

Pros
  • Even light distribution – eliminates hot spots or shadows
Cons
  • The light can flicker when used with certain dimming switches

Well made and easy to install.

Well made, light weight, has quick connect sockets for up to three wires, cut out templates included. Works best with a dimmer switch. Use electric tape to keep the junction box closed after wiring.

Pros
  • Recessed Lighting
Cons
  • It can be difficult to find replacement parts

Outstanding - my new review

These were a breeze to install, easily adjusted, and easy to wire. The connections in the box were easy (don't forget to punch out a hole) and match the quality standalone push to connect Romex connectors. It had a template for drywall so the hardest part was ensuring I wasn't near a stud. I installed 4 lights in about 20 minutes, start to finish, all wired off a ceiling fan I replaced. These are bright, I love the color adjustment on the box, and it works well with my dimmer. Can't recommend…

Pros
  • Affordable – a cheap alternative to costly lighting fixtures
Cons
  • It requires a lot of power to operate

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great LED Lighting for my opinion

Much easier to install than canned lighting. The color choices really make it a custom touch. If I had any complaint it would be how easy the springs that hold in the ceiling break if you're not careful rendering the light useless.

Pros
  • Long-lasting – built to last for years, eliminating the need for constant replacement
Cons
  • It can be hard to find the right dimming switch for the light

Works great good for me

Just installed these over the weekend. Put all 6 for the kitchen ceiling about 2-3 feet on center. VERY bright. Probably only needed 3 or 4. We installed a dimmer and have been operating at about 50% of power. I heard there's some fallout after a couple of months from other reviewers. We shall see about these.

Pros
  • Purchased for my remodel. Love them, makes such a difference in my kitchen!
Cons
  • It can flicker at times, causing discomfort
