Bought this as an ingredient in a homemade mosquito repellent. I actually love the smell. and my husband hates it. Maybe it just worked as a temporary repellent against husband (haha). Seriously, how much you like a scent seems to vary from person to person. I didn't buy it for fragrance or homeopathic medicine. so for me this is exactly what i wanted.

I mix about 10 drops in a small spray bottle with distilled water to spray every time we go outside to avoid bites. We used it for 2 weeks and no new bites! We've never had a problem with mosquitoes in the past, but the last two summers have been terrible. My daughter plays outside a lot and was covered in bites that swelled up and scratched her. What a waste of money. At first I couldn't get it out of the bottle. Apparently the gearbox is defective. So I took it off and poured the oil into a dropper bottle. But in doing so I spilled oil on the countertop which is old and porous and now I can't get the smell of oil off the countertop. When I could use the second dropper bottle, I added several full dropper bottles to a small spray bottle of water and isopropyl alcohol to make bug repellent. That does not work.
