This is ideal for indoor dogs that bark at approaching steps but work about 2/3 of the time when placed outside. The range is quite good though at around 50 feet, works longer if you live in an apartment building

This product really helps control our dog Mason's barking. We turn it on when we work from home as it randomly barks at passers by/postman. It lacks the audio that makes my dog look confused and stop barking. My only gripe is that this is a 9v battery operated battery which can be quite expensive. I'd appreciate if we could just plug it in instead!
