Put a battery in the holder and it gets so hot it burns my finger

The battery in the mount got very hot and this one came in a big box with other stuff so can't figure out how to return it. These things aren't safe so I'll throw them in the trash without batteries, of course I'm not happy.

Pros
  • The small metal flashlight is easy to use and comes with a flashlight cable to make it easier to hold
Cons
  • Some problems

Perfect for hurricane season

Having just moved to Florida for hurricane season, I ordered these flashlights. So glad I did. They are so powerful and bright for being so small. While we have not tolerated power outages for more than a few minutes I am sure they will come in handy if/when needed.

Pros
  • Four (4) EVEREADY tactical flashlights powered by three (3) AAA batteries (not included)
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great flashlights, very bright!

Very happy with these great little torches, perfect to have at home during power outages or whenever you want. Very bright. When inserting the battery pack, carefully observe the polarity: two batteries go in one direction and one in the opposite direction; this is clearly marked on the cartridge. Excellent value for money and quality. Haven't had them long enough to talk about battery life.

Pros
  • Torches
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very small, warm to the touch

This flashlight set is much smaller than I thought. Very bright light but the whole family complained that the pen felt very hot after a few minutes of use during a power outage. Calling it a tactical flashlight isn't quite right, so here it is. All it has is the brightness of the light. Not tested for water resistance. I couldn't leave it on long enough to appreciate the battery life. A small child would burn themselves trying to hold it. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not exactly accurate, full disclosure of the description!

In the description of these flashlights they are referred to as "tactical" flashlights. For those of us who know what a "real" tactical light is, they are NOT the same. These are inexpensive devices that put out some light and I'd be very surprised if they put out anything close to 300 lumens (I have a real 180 lumen tactical flashlight and it's a lot brighter than these lights). These lights project a square bright spot shaped like an LED that emits light. Also, the description does not say…

Pros
  • Pocket flashlights
Cons
  • Crumpled
