5 year update: Fantastic bag that has everything I was looking for

5 year update: After 5 years of constant travel this bag still looks and feels almost new on. I do 10 or 12 trips a year and this bag is always with me. I love it and it's high quality. I just checked every inch and found no defect, crack or other damage. After 5 years of use! Brilliant! ------------------ Fantastic bag that has everything I was looking for in a laptop travel bag. I searched a lot here and even ordered two more bags to test side by side. This Everki bag was by far the best. The

Perfect for air travel

I've always liked the everki bag. I was looking for a minimalist airline travel bag and here it is. I tried another brand that was the same size but didn't have enough pockets and a flap at the top instead of a zipper, which is annoying when you're in the middle seat and someone is leaning back in front of you. You want access to your tablet, laptop, headphones, charger and more when you need them. Numerous pockets and storage spaces make this possible. I fit my 13 inch laptop, 10 inch tabletโ€ฆ

Best lightweight laptop backpack I've ever had, highly recommend.

I have been wearing this backpack for almost 2 years now and am impressed with its quality and functionality. I did a lot of research to find a compact laptop backpack with 2 side pockets and this was the best I could find. It was a bit more expensive than I wanted to spend but I'm very satisfied and think I really got what I paid for. Why was it important to me to have 2 side pockets? That's because I can carry a water bottle in one bag and an umbrella in the other - which is very importantโ€ฆ

Excellent backpack. The drinking bottle pockets are too small.

TL;DR = great backpack. Very convenient. The drinking bottle pockets are too small and narrow. I would buy it again. Pros: This backpack sits higher than previous backpacks and stops right over my butt. No matter how aggressively I go, it doesn't bounce off my butt. Generally very comfortable. The main compartment is surprisingly large for a small backpack. Comfortably accommodates a laptop and a spring jacket and offers plenty of space. The orange inner lining makes it easier to find. It has a beautiful design, lots of pockets and great features

I have to admit I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to backpacks for work. I travel a lot and use the REI Outdoor Products PowerPack 3. It's a nice design, lots of pockets and nice features, but poor quality for a low price (about 6 zippers) and easy-to-tear material. Also looks like the proverbial turtle on its back, not very professional. I then went on a search and sometimes bought and returned high-quality bags from Timbuk2, Eagle Creek, Tumi, eBags and Osprey. Each of them had drawbacksโ€ฆ
