Great Aerobic Step: Legacy Systems

Great exercise, I use it 3 days a week for exercising and lifting. Comes with extras that can be raised a few inches as you get more advanced or do more difficult exercises. Love doing aerobic steps and love the feeling of accomplishment afterwards, everyone will benefit from this in your gym!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Some little things

Very slippery! No adhesion to the ground!

I train much better with it and when I remove the cups from the Wii board, it fits perfectly on top. Tracks steps very well. WARNING ! I need to put some rubber glue under the 4 corners because when I step on it, it's very slippery and moves very easily. I almost fell down!

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • No forced form

Everlast will do it. Will do.

Agree with other reviews here. Benefits: 1) Step increases the intensity of the workout. 2) The product is durable and the board is stable when you stand on it. Cons: 1) The holes in the step are too deep and won't register properly without a little modification. It's not Everlast's fault: 1) You can't get used to a 3 inch step on the Wii games, so the burn numbers are even more guesswork than before the step.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Speeded up my workout

After reading some of the previous reviews I was a little apprehensive but really wanted to take it a step further and you couldn't beat the price. I've been using it daily for two weeks and it's great. Yes, the screws are too small and when I move the step it doesn't feel stable, but when I put a balance board on it it's perfect. This is a good height and the number of steps is accurate, there are no missed steps. I burn almost twice as many calories with step aerobics. I wish I had bought itโ€ฆ

Good addition to Wii Fit but has drawbacks

This is a really great addition to Wii Fit, it would just be nice if it worked properly. As previous reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't always recognize your steps, and the weight has been reduced by at least 10 pounds. Unfortunately I don't have any poker chips to see if that solves the problem. It just seems like it should have been caught testing. But from what I've read other available Step platforms have the same problem. Knowing this in advance, I saw no reason to overpay for anotherโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Regular price

  • Not bad

Pros and cons of Wii

Just received this stand. Overall I think this is a good product. However, it has a problem that should have easily caught the attention of the engineers. The holes for the Wii Fit Board are too deep. This causes the sensors to give the game incorrect information about weight and BMI. He also cannot read the steps and exercises properly. I solved this problem by putting two poker chips in each leg hole of the Wii board. This gave enough float and still held the board on the riser. Nowโ€ฆ
