Not as advertised! good for throwing

Not as advertised, they should be almost 60% wool, the label clearly says 30% wool. They are very stiff and not as warm as most wool blankets as they are only 30% wool. It would be nice to come under false advertising again.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Makes me angry

I am very happy with my purchase!

I gave it 1 star for "softness" because it's wool. Wool is never soft! Haha, actually this blanket is pretty darn nice. I bought it for a hike and it was great. It's a nice size and keeps me very warm.

Pros
  • Durability Test Results
Cons
  • Commercial Availability

Not what I expected

I was expecting a 1.2 lb duvet but it was more like 5 lbs. The photos look way better than what you actually see, they aren't all the same color and remind me of something you might find in an insulated attic or garage? It seems very warm and durable. I wouldn't call it a blanket but a piece of fabric that can be used for outdoor things.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Weight

You get what you pay for

I was looking for an inexpensive wool blanket to carry in the car for emergencies. This will work for a while. The first item in the bag was attacked by an unpleasant odor that reminded me of a half-dead, soaked goat. I almost got sick. Thrown straight into the washing machine, bad idea. When I took it out of the washing machine it had "lint/fluff" left over that took hours to clean. Actually had to drive an empty trunk to finally get rid of the fluff. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are downsides
