💪 Reliable EVGA 700 BQ 700W Power Supply with 80+ Bronze Efficiency, Semi Modular Design, FDB Fan, and 5-Year Warranty Review

This power supply works as it should and with the correct output/input rating as advertised. But the biggest complaint and issue I have is the noise. And I noticed that with my old power supply, my computer was so quiet that you didn't realize it was on even when you were nearby. This PSU fits well in the CORSAIR 750D case and supports MSI B450-A-PRO MAX motherboard, EVGA GeForce 2080 Super Graphics Card and a AMD AM4 3700 series processor. The only thing that was a little tricky was that the sockets on the side of the PSU are the same color as the PSU case. They're easy to miss if you don't know they're there.

Don't waste your money on a power supply with less than 80+ gold. I took a chance because the price is for a budget build and I was about to pay a lot of time for it. After less than a week of use, the system crackled and died. After examining every detail, I determined it was the power supply. A quick PSU swap later and thankfully the build was up and running again. This isn't the first time I've used a Bronze rated power supply, but it will definitely be my last.

If not fully I can hear the CPU fan and case fan and THEY are quiet so I seriously doubt you will hear it when you look for a quiet. Good deal and the power supplies last quite a long time. at least the good ones. I got an EVGA power supply last year, LOUD! Not this one, so it must have been a CC bug.

This series has terrible quality control. There were a few wires from the box that were not connected to the 24-pin connector. I understand this is the cheapest brand of EVGA as it doesn't have a modular design etc. But coming from EVGA I expected at least some quality to come from some sort of quality control before shipping. In the end I settled on a competitor that was actually modular and had a little less power but a nicer design with cables. This was a huge blow to me as an EVGA consumer.

I had an EVGA 500W PSU but was having some issues with my Radeon RX480 8GB graphics card which kept dropping out. I loaded the game and was sometimes able to walk for a few minutes before it restarted (black screen).
