Very happy with my cat salt lamp! It's shaped like a cat (guys, it's rock salt, you're not going to get a statue that looks like an art carving of a cat!) and glows beautifully with the included lightbulb. The base is solid and looks good.

Arrived broken in the packaging. What now? the box with the goods is undamaged, as is the shipping box. looks like it had a defective section and ripped in transit or maybe in the cold weather outside. anyway it's broken. what should I do with it, can I return it because it was defective and broken. ?

Nice idea, but it doesn't look nearly as good as the picture. Two issues that make me return it: the base is literally a small square of cheap wood - smaller than a cat's base; it doesn't look anything like the box picture (or the Revain picture) and the dimmer doesn't dim. It's on or off. It shouldn't cost more than $10.

It's hard to 'see' a cat. You really have to study for that. It came with a chipped earbud and the base was cracked and deteriorated in several places. Does not sit flat on flat surfaces. The light illuminates the room, so maybe too bright? Too bad, I really think this is a smart idea and would make a great gift for cat lovers. But overall this part was disappointing so I sent it back.

It is very bright compared to my other salt lamps. It has more white glow than orange. Aside from being a bit brighter than I would have liked, it's very pretty. He doesn't look as much like a cat up close as he does from a distance. As I walk across the room, it's a beautiful glowing cat. People who complain that he doesn't look like a cat must mean it up close. It is not embellished with details. I am happy with mine.

I took a chance on getting a cat lamp despite some bad reviews on some sockets etc. I really like mine and I'm lucky with the socket.
