This thing works pretty well if by good we mean it hooks onto the hair before it clogs. It works much more effectively on long hair and much less effectively on shorter ones. The instructions tell users to throw it away when it gets a good hairball, but it's easy to clean and I see no reason to get rid of it. I was very happy to use them in the shower. I have long hair and plums and I have problems. It went down the drain without much fuss, but there is a piece of plastic holding the metal cord to the decoration so the cord can be pulled out when it's done; this does not work with a flat shower drain. Easy to install but no foaming. Used in our shower cabin on wheels. With the large ring I don't have to worry about it falling down the drain.
