First action: Drain filter

They didn't fit me. The part that goes into the drain fitted my drain hole snugly, which in turn blocked the flow of water. I went back to my old plastic that doesn't look so pretty sitting on the tub drain. If they had a smaller cup it might have worked better.

Didn't work for me on bathroom faucets

It didn't make the tub easier to empty, it actually slowed the drain. While I can agree that it catches all of the debris in the tub water, if it can just keep the tub from draining a little, then what's the point of using this thing? There are other better designed hair clips out there - I can't give more than one star for these.

  • There's something to it

Suitable for curly/frizzy hair

I love that this drain washed my hair and the shampoo and conditioner I used didn't block it and the hair caught in the spikes in the outer area of the hair drain caught . Nothing clogged the drain and it doesn't stop the flow of my water and everything runs smoothly and doesn't clog. The only thing is that some of my products that I've used get stuck on the outside/or under the drain so you have to make a habit of cleaning afterwards and the tub after a few uses, which doesn't bother me at all

actually [temporarily] clogged the drain

Ironically, this hair dryer clogs my bathtub drain, but not because my hair is running through it; It clogs because the plastic rises at a 75% angle so the water has to flow up to drain and the plastic slows the water flow. Set this up and turn on the faucet and you will have a pool of water in the drain moving slowly. Pooh. Especially if that water is soapy. I set it aside and don't use it unless it's my head. It catches all the hair, so it works, but 90% of the plastic isn't needed because it

Prevents clogs, lasts about 3 months

These miracle cures keep hair from getting clogged up in the bath shower drain, but being made of lightweight plastic, they'll pop out if the drain starts to clog a bit . My 3 roommates and I all have long, thick brown or black hair. We used to have to call maintenance staff at our apartments every two months to clean our shower drains due to the inevitable clogs. With these hair plugs, we now have to call her about every six months. It's very easy to see how beneficial these hair plugs are…

Very nice good for drain filter

Two people using our shower have long hair. We never had a drain problem in the last 40 years until we moved to a house with a newer push button bathroom drain. (We've always had drains with metal screen covers. The same ones in old/historic homes.) However, after a year the tub drain slowed down enough that we had to scroll through it only to find a mass of coarse hairs. Pooh! I looked at Revain and decided to go for it. First I had to unscrew and remove the drain cap with the knob to allow…

Works well if your sink is sunken

I could not find any photos of this item other than those from above to see how far below the surface of the tub the center would drop into the sink. I ordered it anyway, thinking I could just cut the center section off if needed. It turns out it goes down about an inch, but fits our stock perfectly. When moving out into the drain, the item stays in place even if hit by water pouring out of the tub's spout. Most of the hair gets caught on the outside so it could be worked without the center…
