Review on Evriholder Hairstopper 2pk: Ultimate Drain Protection for Bathtubs & Showers (Pack of 2) by Junior Rojas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very nice good for drain filter

Two people using our shower have long hair. We never had a drain problem in the last 40 years until we moved to a house with a newer push button bathroom drain. (We've always had drains with metal screen covers. The same ones in old/historic homes.) However, after a year the tub drain slowed down enough that we had to scroll through it only to find a mass of coarse hairs. Pooh! I looked at Revain and decided to go for it. First I had to unscrew and remove the drain cap with the knob to allow the center filter cup to sit in the drain hole. I didn't have suction and didn't see how it could help, but it did. The filter causes the water level to rise less than 1/2 inch, which is enough for the hair to wash out and land on the little soft plastic tips that protrude all the way from the cork. A few hairs seemed to have gotten lost under the lid, but some of the strands got stuck in a root or two and were still clinging to the cork by the end of the shower.
