I was hesitant to buy the purple tint on this stamp pad as some reviews said the ink looked black. However, I was hoping for the purple shade! The ink pad looks dark but once you print it the color is distinctly purple and definitely not so dark that it looks black. Incorrect chuck size. I have purchased this stamp before and expected to receive an ink pad that matched the image. You can see in the picture that the top panel has a full-size panel while the bottom one doesn't. These are both lists but the following is my most recent purchase. Because the rim makes the pad smaller, I can no longer use my large dies, even though I have to adjust them due to the overhang at the rim of the pad. All in all very disappointing.
