Poor quality, no after-sales service

I used the pressure gauge once and the pin in the center that presses on the valve core broke off. I couldn't return it to Revain so I emailed Milton customer service. You never answered. I will avoid their garbage in the future.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Requires socket

Large digital display for each valve stem

Long valve stem push head for easy installation. Large ergonomic handle, beautiful backlit digital display. Runs on standard size batteries! This is my second product purchase, highly recommended.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Security

Great tool for tire and wheel tools

When I bought this tool I was looking for a sensor to get at the inner tires on my twin rear wheels on my wheeled truck. This tool got good readings without much maneuvering to mount it on the valve stem. The backlit black screen helped a lot in the dark, and it was easy to switch the scale from PSI to another. Auto shut-off saves battery power. I like it.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Check the reading, my gauge was too low

I should know better but I only relearned afterwards because precision is implied (numbers on the gauge going to tenths of a PSI) , which is the case does NOT mean accuracy. So when I gauge-inflated the rear dual tires to a cold pressure of 80.0psi, it turns out I was actually inflating them to 85+psi, which is especially problematic when the tires start to age (in my nearly 3 year old ). The over-inflation caused punctures and severe damage to a Class C motorhome for less than 3 years.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Negative impression

Completely inaccurate! Do not buy this meter!

Do not buy this tire pressure gauge because you cannot rely on it to provide accurate tire pressure readings compared to calibrated gauges. The tire pressure sensor gave good pressure readings for about 3 months, and then the low tire pressure resulted in over-inflation and excessive tire wear. This problem was discovered when measuring tread depth. It cost me about $600 extra tires on a hot truck. Stick to quality mechanical gauges that are easy to use and don't require batteries.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No Instructions

Almost 7 pounds difference from other brands

I am very disappointed after buying 2 Exelair gauges. I tried both and the readings for the same tire differed by more than 1psi when using each of the sensors. I tried new batteries just in case and the readings were the same. With the older sensors I consistently registered 32.4psi and the Excelair sensors registered 25.6 and 27.0psi on the same tire each time. I do not trust and do not recommend this manufacturer! Would like to return it, but find it impractical and accept the loss! I can't…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Something different

Powerless and possibly inaccurate

Looked really cool but... 1: The little button that actually depresses the valve stem broke and fell out before I could even do my first check of all six tires [ double on the back of the camper].2: Digital is more accurate? Maybe, maybe not. From those that I was able to verify, I doubted the accuracy of the device. I've used two other gauges that read 63psi on my 65 max tires; However, this device indicated 50 psi. Perhaps the other two sensors were BOTH wrong; it's possible but... Luckily…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Solid and accurate.

I like this pressure gauge. A lot of. So many that I bought a second one. The body is solid metal. The rest is also metal. I tested them both on the same truck tire. Both read 79.5psi which is exactly what they should and tell me they are accurate. Much better than the plastic junk I buy at grocery stores and auto parts stores. I have 6 of these and each reads differently. I think $14-17 is a great price compared to the $10-14 plastic junk I got. Milton's name wouldn't hurt either. It's been…
