I was disappointed with this product. While I had hoped for a reliable battery, this one quickly died out, leaving my device dead. The only positive is that it did not leak, which can be a major concern for health and household items. The con is that it simply does not work well. I would not recommend this product for anyone looking for a long lasting battery that they can count on.

I was able to use the battery in a 40 year old soil moisture meter which they don't do as well anymore. Have found that I have little water in my plants. Hope this lasts a while.

Type 504 (round) fits my 50 year old VOM perfectly. Replaced the original 15v square with no problems. Just check the published sizes for your application. Remember that they always fit snugly.
