Excellent Value 50ft Fiberglass Exhaust Fairing. I used a roller on my pickup truck muffler to lower the temperature of the passenger side footboards. What difference does it make how I wrapped a double layer in a four foot length. The product looks good with no flaws when wrapped on the exhaust pipe. Before use, soak in water as directed and use supplier's rubber gloves to prevent fiberglass fibers from flying around. The included stainless steel bands are a bit difficult to use but work well.

Works well and the 50ft length also wraps around a set of short V8 downpipes. Attention, you will need more of these steel bands to tie the ends together. I used duct tape to temporarily hold the ends in place and some silicone high temp sealant to prolong life. Both will burn out in a glorious mist after a few minutes, leaving you with a much lower temperature in the engine compartment. Inexpensive, works as it should. if you're one of those people who itch for fiber optics. Wear gloves and long sleeves as some small loose fibers will be released during the wrapping process. Half a roll was enough to wrap the old, dented and discolored pipes on my Ironhead (it has silencers, it would take more than half a roll to pull the pipes all the way back). Initial review: At first I was very happy with the product but as I continued to roll out the roll there were numerous instances of poor manufacture and quality control.
