Almost burned my computer

when I connected it to the power supply and to my molex for my pc fan adapter. It started smoking and almost burned my entire computer. Luckily it still works, but I'm pissed

wouldn't recommend using them for new age tech but for anything 2015 and older I'd happily buy more. Good quality and arrived on time

Mandatory if Molex powers the GPU

I have an old PSU and while it provides enough power, it doesn't have a separate PCI-E slot for my GPU. I have used a Molex to PCI-E 6 pin adapter in the past but the cable failed and in fact one of the wires in the connector melted. This could potentially start a fire, my fault! This connector uses 18AWG wires and is powered by two Molex connectors instead of one, so you're splitting the power consumption across two wires instead of one. The wires only get slightly warm to the touch underโ€ฆ
