A great addition to outdoor lighting

I used this product in an outdoor light fixture on a New York patio. I had an LED flood light and it only gave light directly to the ground, this product helped spread the light to the rest of my patio.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very bad quality. Not UL listed.

I was surprised by their extremely low quality. My mistake is that I didn't read all the reviews first and just lost my rating. I wouldn't trust them, especially now that I've read they're melting. I could see it happening very easily! I will return them and look for a higher quality product that won't burn my house down.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Obsolete

Works well - Electrical

I bought this because my living room fan was so weak. My outlet was horizontal so I needed something that could bend 90 degrees so I could add a 5 in 1 light bulb splitter. Works great, bends 90 degrees. I've added a photo but it better represents the 5-in-1 socket. But it shows it's strong enough to hold all those bulbs. I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nice fixture just not for LED spots

They work but the connections don't hold tight when you put a LED spot on them. After about 2 weeks they tend to droop under the weight of the spotlight. Also, they are good strong links and fit my purposes with T. 1 star for sag that I need to improve in other ways. I mean industrial Velcro.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Update available

Motion detection is not built in, this must be purchased separately. But the extra length will help our existing lights better illuminate the garage. There are drywall channels that blocked some of the light from the original recessed ceiling lights. Now with the added length, the entire 25'x20' garage is properly lit with two of the three extended lights. Now I can get motion sensor lightbulbs since someone always leaves the garage light on.

Pros
  • Adjustable vertical neck and head angle up to 90 degrees. The head can also be rotated 360 degrees in any horizontal direction.
Cons
  • Expensive

You've melted!: Lampholders

Thought it would be a good idea to update the old Hollywood light fixture with extensions so the bulbs hang down. The description says that you can use a light bulb with a power of up to 150 watts. I used 60 watts and the casing around the bulb socket started to melt about 10 minutes after turning it on (I couldn't even get the bulb out on some). Serious fire hazard, I'm so glad I noticed this before anything serious happened. Cheated because it looked really good. But used in the manufacture…

Pros
  • Works for 110-250V lighting up to 150W with E26 and E27 lampholders. Strong and durable, flame retardant PBT plastic and stainless steel.
Cons
  • Not sure

Worked great. about a month

Initially this product worked very well for use in very tall lights in our basement stairs. After about a month the light started flickering and then went out where we had to knock out a corner or bulb to get the light back on. It then went on until the light simply went out after a few minutes. It was so frustrating we even called an electrician. After we removed that, the problem was resolved. I think this is a poor quality product that only works for a short time. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Safe and easy to install, use this adapter for photography, lighting homes, offices, workspaces etc.
Cons
  • Only available in black
