This doormat does exactly what I wanted allowing me to wipe off my shoes/slippers when I go to the basement. I don't want to dig through dust and dirt and this rug has real texture to really clean my shoes. I haven't had it long enough to judge its durability, but it looks and feels pretty solid. The time will show.

Bought to clean shoes after morning coffee on the porch. As you can see in the photo, I use it inside as a pretty accent rug. But this rug is heavier and more durable than expected. So soon I'll get another one for another door! The last rug I had outside didn't clean my shoes enough, but this one helps!

What I got was NOTHING like the photo and instead of natural textile the 'bows' were shiny cheap brown plastic 'grass' , which fell right out of the box . Garbage with a capital letter. Look elsewhere, it's not what you think it is. After several failed attempts, the Revain Doormat Roulette turned out to be a waste of time and money. Go to Home Depot or Target instead!

These rugs are very thin, thinner than they appear in the photos. They are also not a light brown but a very matte muted washed out brown. Also, not sure why they're called XL since 30 inches isn't even a standard door width. My doors are 32 inches and they don't cover their width. They don't lie flat and they smell really disgusting - a mixture of cigarette smoke, tar, rubber, just disgusting.

I usually don't like floor mats because they are too thick and my doors never move or they get heavy when it rains. This rug is thinner than most and my door opens easily, it rained the other day and it dried instantly. It's also soft to walk on, not hard and dry. I am very impressed with the quality of this doormat. I think this is a much higher quality than the floor mats I find in stores. It has a durable rubber backing and rows of artificial grass and plastic instead of the brush/straw found on other floor mats. It seems like it's going to take a long time. I just received the doormat (mine is half round 30" x 18") and it fits perfectly and looks great. I use this one right outside my front door, but am now also considering buying a second one to have right outside my door as well. Perhaps two semi-circular elements would create a cool circle effect when the door is open. Very strong plastic/rubber smell but it's not unpleasant and I think it should dissipate.
