Strong rope, use with 16# anchor

Use with 16# anchors in fresh and salty colors, feels strong and takes up less space than mine previous rope ( twisted). I also have a puller to pull the anchor and I was a little worried how it would hold up but so far so good, it pulls and floats the anchor perfectly with an 11 inch buoy. The price is right too, so I like it

Pros
  • Smooth and flexible strong braid with kink and kink resistant structure
Cons
  • Available in black only

Lightweight Melted Bow String

When I first opened the package I was disappointed with how light and fragile the string was, but I decided to give it a try. It worked fine for a couple of weeks until I was using my boat one night and found that the bow light (which was off) was melting the rope after anchoring my boat so I have weakness now. It also tangles more easily than a twisted rope.

Pros
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Solid braided line, works well and is flexible.

Solid braided line, works well, good and flexible but difficult to braid even with the right tools. I haven't tested this under load, but it should work fine for our purpose. We use it as an anchor line on a 21ft jet boat, our lake is calm and not that deep. It's a nice light and flexible leash, I don't expect our use to exceed the rated strength. A stainless steel thimble screwed into the line is not a very thick material, but it will do.

Pros
  • Working Load Limit: 250 lbs / Tear Strength: 1290 lbs.
Cons
  • Large and bulky
