High-Capacity Hydraulic Motorcycle/ATV Jack - Extreme Max 5001.5038 - 1700 lb. Capacity Review

Firstly it was better packaged than a 4 ton jack bought some time ago. Easy to assemble and raises my Sportster effortlessly. The only real issue I see with the design is the release bar. Depending on the bike, the zip ties may get in the way. My rear seat belt was between the tank and the seat, so it was a little diagonally above the outlet. I had to let go of that belt to lower it. Otherwise a pretty decent jack.

Shipped disassembled and missing bolts. I had to go to the hardware store to buy the screws holding the bushing. After assembly (easy assembly) the jack did not lift my bike. Had to pump more than fifty (50) times to lift the bike. My bike weighs less than 500 pounds, and according to the manufacturer, 500 pounds was easy to lift. used twice before calling revane to complain and return the jack. If you look closely in the photo of this screw and you can see the slot, this screw was installed with a hammer! The rounding of the rails was caused by trying to remove the screw so it could be installed through the top of the slider over the slider strut. The parts welded to the piston strut that hold the piston head were so misaligned that a slot was made in the bolt when it was hammered in. It is obvious that there is no quality control in the assembly process, otherwise it would be noticed
