Suitable for steaming vegetables

Today we cooked broccoli. Works perfectly. It doesn't fit much, but it's good for 2-3 people. Fits easily in a closet.

Good microwave steamer

I love cooking fresh vegetables in the microwave and this steamer does the job. It is easy to wash in the dishwasher or by hand. The white tray takes on the color of a carrot, but it's not for serving, so it's fine. Happy with my purchase.

Works great: Small appliances

Ideal for steaming vegetables. Easy to clean. I gave it a 4 because the high temperature of the steam makes it difficult to remove the veggies. If instead of a notch for the fingers (which can get very hot) there were short handles on either side that would be ideal.

Okay but nothing I would buy again

the tray at the bottom is so loose that food like green beans fall into the water and hard to reach. It would be much better if the tray was a small basket. I wouldn't buy it again but as it's only used in our caravan I'll keep it and live with it.

Simple no frills steamer

This is a fast and easy to use steam generator. It is small but suitable for one person. Closing the four latches on the lid isn't always easy, but when I snap 3 shut, everything is fine and everything works in the microwave. The small white shelf makes it easy to take out and arrange on a plate. If you're looking for something that's 100% bug-free, you probably won't like it. If you're okay with just closing 2-3 of the 4 lid latches, then grab it and just know your food comes out well steamed.

Perfect for my needs

This item is the perfect size for me. I use this exclusively to heat my fish in the microwave. The container holds enough moisture to keep the fish moist. The lid "latches" to counteract the "explosive" trend that is inevitable with any fatty fish fillet. Of course, that doesn't stop with "clap, clap, clap," but confines any slaughterhouse to a container that's far easier to clean than a microwave oven. Bottom. This allows the liquid to accumulate without the fish (in my case) reabsorbing theโ€ฆ
