For some reason I thought it was a braided strap. It's actually a piece of leather. There were four in the pack, adjustable and seem to be pretty sturdy so far. Bought these for my mom who has a habit of putting on glasses and losing them. She hasn't lost her glasses since using the cord. Not sure how comfortable it is to wear for long periods - a smoother braided synthetic line might be better.

I like the way they look, they are comfortable. The big problem is that it doesn't matter how tightly you attach them to your glasses. They constantly pull glasses off at the slightest jerk. It seems like just yesterday he flew off my glasses 10 times. If they stayed I would recommend them. UPDATE, I've found that if you stretch them and pull the thing around the glasses 2 times, they stay put. Kind of a pain to do but it still stays.

These hold up strong (2 days so far). Let's see how long they last. 4-5 stars so far. Edit: No strong hold. The plastic beads holding the leather strap are too big so they slide easily and don't tighten the strap behind your head. The maker had to use smaller plastic beads, or double tie a strap through the beads to hold them in place better, or even use a spring/plastic clasp (common on backpacks or some bags) to keep the cord tight behind the back.
