Eyeko Rock Lash Mascara Black Review

This mascara has become my new "Holy Grail". It's pricey, but comparable in price to past favorites like Benefit and Lorak. Where Eyeko really excels is in endurance. This mascara never flakes or smears — it literally won't budge until I reach for micellar water and cotton pads at the end of the night. It can be a little tricky to remove, but I'd rather do it than deal with raccoon eyes in the middle of the day!

One application offers excellent coverage and adds length and volume! I fell asleep without removing my makeup and woke up not looking like a raccoon! I am impressed! I don't usually pay a lot for mascara, but I'll definitely have it on hand. Definitely worth the money. I also love the "guitar" box and pick. It was a real surprise!

I liked the brush. Big and fluffy at the end. Helped eyelashes grow. But you can't do two layers. It gets lumpy and rough. A coat looks good but not wow. Not what you would expect from a more expensive mascara. The color is not dark black, but dark gray. The lashes looked thin and fluffy. If that's what you're after, then this is great for it. But when I use mascara, I'm looking for something more.

OH. MY. WELL. MR. I've needed this for a long time. A few years ago I used Revlon Color Stay eyelash color. It was wonderful. My favorite mascara of all time. You can tell the formula is different from most as it is more viscous than regular mascaras. This formula dries almost "stretchy" so it doesn't really flake or smudge. Extends perfectly. I used to have to take a safety pin and separate my lashes, but since I switched to this mascara I don't have to. It's "water-resistant", so it's a little harder to remove (cleansing balm will break it down), but at the same time it has great staying power.

I got this as a gift from a friend. I love real mascara but the brush is really oddly shaped. The thin center section doesn't "wipe" when you pull the brush out, so it fits tighter than the rest of the brush. I prefer to tilt the brush and use the big end vertically. Also, I have a hard time removing my makeup before bed and I usually only wear mascara and eyeliner, but the next morning my mascara is still there. Never smudges under the eyes!
