I tried to do it one by one and I can tell you straight out that the glue in this kit is TERRIBLE. But even with my own eyelash glue, it's not a very good set. The pads were difficult to use as my eyes were slightly covered and none of them seemed to fit my eyelids properly. Short, straight Asian lashes that bring them to life! I have to go a little longer to see results, but that's not a problem. It's easy to do yourself, but if someone does it for you, you can treat both eyes at the same time. This set is also better than any other set I've bought before because it comes with all the hardware. I will be able to use this set with a number of solutions, also several times. Works very well! I would recommend curling your lashes before beginning the process, use a smaller sticky thing than you think, wait longer than you think for the glue to become tacky and make sure they are SECURE in place and spot before you start. It's a time-consuming process, but take your time and don't get frustrated and you'll get great results. Oh, and certainly not in the eye. You'll also need plastic wrap, so make sure you have that on hand.
